Share My Adventures collects the information needed to create and manage your account, profile, adventures, friend connections, invitations, and activity participation.

When you use location-based features, the app may collect location data to record adventure progress, show participant positions, and support live tracking during an active adventure.

If you upload GPX files, add calendar events, use notifications, or connect a companion watch app, the app processes the information required to provide those features.

We use your information to operate the app, authenticate your account, display your profile, manage adventures, send invitations and notifications, support friend features, and provide route and location tracking tools.

We also use limited technical information to maintain security, troubleshoot issues, improve reliability, and protect the app from misuse.

Location access is requested only when needed for map, route, tracking, and adventure features. Background location may be used during active tracking so your adventure can continue recording when the app is not open.

You can control location permissions from your device settings. Some adventure tracking features may not work if location access is disabled.

Adventure and profile information may be visible to friends, invited participants, and people involved in the adventures you create or join, depending on the feature being used.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help operate authentication, hosting, notifications, maps, analytics, or other app infrastructure.

If you buy a subscription, your payment is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never receive your card or bank details.

We use RevenueCat to verify purchases. It receives details of the subscriptions linked to your account, such as the product, price, purchase, renewal and expiry dates, so the features you pay for are unlocked on your devices.

The app supports social sign-in, including Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In. These providers may process information according to their own privacy policies.

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the app, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, protect users, and maintain business records.

You may request account or data deletion by contacting us.

Share My Adventures is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a new effective date.

You may use Share My Adventures to create adventures, invite friends, track activities, upload route information, manage participants, and use related companion features.

You are responsible for the information you add, the adventures you create, and how you use the app during real-world activities.

Share My Adventures is a planning, tracking, and sharing tool. It is not an emergency, rescue, medical, navigation, or safety-critical service.

Always use your own judgment, follow local laws, prepare appropriately, and do not rely on the app as your only source of navigation or safety information.

You must provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in method secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account.

We may restrict or suspend access if the app is misused, if these terms are violated, or if doing so is necessary to protect users or the service.

Some features are available as paid subscriptions: individual features, the Explorer Pack and Pro, billed monthly or yearly. The price and billing period are shown in the app before you buy, and include VAT where applicable.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.

You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings, or through Manage subscription in the Feature Store. Cancelling stops future renewals, and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.

If we change a subscription price, Apple or Google will let you know before the new price applies, and you can cancel before it does.

Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google under their refund policies. If a purchase is refunded, the features it unlocked are removed. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.

Each account can choose one individual feature to use free for 30 days, starting when you choose it. The offer must be claimed within 60 days of creating your account (for accounts that existed before the offer launched, within 60 days of its launch) and can be used once per account. It ends automatically, and you are not charged when it ends.

You can also earn free features by completing adventures. These rewards apply to a single adventure, as described in the Feature Store.

We may run other promotions from time to time; the details of each offer are shown in the app. Free features, rewards and promotions have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged.

You keep ownership of content you add to the app, such as profile details, adventure information, invitations, route files, and activity data.

You grant us permission to process and display that content as needed to operate, maintain, improve, and support Share My Adventures.

Do not use the app to harass others, share unlawful content, invade privacy, misrepresent your identity, interfere with the service, or create unsafe situations.

Do not attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to the app or its systems.

We work to keep the app available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, perfect accuracy, or that every feature will always be available.

To the extent allowed by law, Share My Adventures and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses related to outdoor activity risks, location accuracy, connectivity, device issues, or third-party services.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the updated terms.
